CNC Machinist

About the role

As a CNC Machinist, you will play a key role in the manufacturing operations at XYNEX SDN BHD, a leading provider of industrial products and solutions. In this full-time position based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining state-of-the-art CNC machines to produce high-quality components and parts for our customers.

What you'll be doing

1. Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts and components with a high degree of precision and accuracy
2. Interpret engineering drawings and follow work instructions to ensure parts are produced to the required specifications
3. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
4. Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
5. Work collaboratively with the production team to identify and implement process improvements
6. Maintain detailed records of production activities and machine performance

What we're looking for

1. Formal training or qualification in CNC machining or a related engineering discipline
2. Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and optimise production processes
5. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
6. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
