The role

We are seeking a talented Process & Control Engineer to join our team at Mycron Steel CRC Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam, Selangor. This is a full-time role that will play a key part in the continuous improvement and optimisation of our manufacturing processes.

What you'll be doing

  1. Analyze existing process, spot inefficiencies and makes recommendation for improvement
  2. Execute process audits, review the outcome and improve the short-coming
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
  4. Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rate efficiencies, yield, cost & changeover.
  5. Control of non-conforming product. Review, decision making for WIP NCR
  6. Support QA in addressing customer complaints by conducting a thorough root cause analysis, recommending corrective actions, and implementing preventive measures.

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or a related discipline
  2. 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  3. Strong engineering analytical and problem solving skill.
  4. Strong organizational and planning abilities, independent thinking and attention to details, high energy and self-motivated attitude
  5. High energy and self-motivated attitude with strong communication skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and at all organizational levels.
