Role Description
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the administration, configuration, and optimization of Oracle databases (versions 12c, 19c, or later).
  • Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Optimize database performance and ETL jobs for efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application performance and scalability.
  • Ensure database security, compliance, and data integrity across environments.
  • Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting (Shell, PL/SQL, Python, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and OEM.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development and tuning.
  • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Added advantage for Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM).
  • Exposure to other RDBMS platforms (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) is a plus.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
