Job Title: Junior Management Trainee

Management trainee is an entry-level position that involves a structured training program for individuals who aspire to become future leaders or managers with Broad-Link Logistics. This role is designed to provide candidates with a broad understanding of the industry, company operations, and management skills.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Fresh graduate
• Minimum of a Diploma or equivalent in business or a departmentally related field.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Training and Development: The primary responsibility of a Management Trainee is to undergo structured training and development programs. This may include classroom training, on-the-job training, workshops, and mentorship to learn about the company's policies, procedures, products, and services.
• Rotation: Rotate through different departments or functional areas within the company. This exposure helps them gain a broad understanding of how the organization operates and how different functions are interconnected.
• Project Work: Trainees may be assigned to work on specific projects or tasks to gain practical experience. These projects could be related to operations, marketing, finance, human resources, or other areas of the business.
• Observation: To observe and learn from experienced managers and leaders within the organization. This includes shadowing, attending meetings, and understanding the decision-making processes.
• Problem Solving: Given opportunities to solve real-world business problems. They may be asked to analyze data, make recommendations, and implement solutions under the guidance of mentors or supervisors.
• Customer Interaction: May have interactions with customers or clients to understand their needs and concerns. This helps to develop customer service and relationship management skills.
• Reporting: Responsible for preparing reports and documentation related to their training activities and project work. This can include progress reports, analysis of results, and recommendations.
• Feedback and Evaluation: Trainees should actively seek feedback from their mentors and supervisors to assess their performance and identify areas for improvement. This feedback is crucial for their professional growth.
• Networking: Building relationships within the organization and industry is important. Management Trainees should actively network with colleagues, peers, and industry professionals to expand their knowledge and opportunities.
• Adaptation: As they progress through the program, trainees should be adaptable and open to taking on new challenges. You may be required to relocate or work in different locations as part of their development.
• Continuous Learning: A commitment to lifelong learning is essential for a Management Trainee. This includes staying updated on industry trends, acquiring new skills, and seeking further education or certifications if necessary.
• Compliance and Ethics: Trainees are expected to adhere to the company's code of conduct, ethical standards, and compliance policies throughout their training period.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Microsoft Office Operating Knowledge.
• Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.

ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

• Able to communicate in both verbal and written communication in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Empowered to make quick decisions in response to changing conditions.
• Strong rapport and relationship building
• Work cross functional.
• Strictly meeting deadlines and submission.
• Practice zero politics.
