About the role

Whitecrow Research Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Controlling Analyst to join our dynamic team in Selangor. As a Controlling Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial analysis and reporting to support the company's decision-making processes. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the overall success and growth of the organization.

What you'll be doing

  1. Performing detailed financial analysis and reporting to support the company's management team
  2. Monitoring and analyzing key financial metrics, trends, and variances to identify opportunities for improvement
  3. Preparing accurate and insightful financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support
  5. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
  6. Assisting with special projects and ad-hoc analyses as required

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a financial analysis or controlling role, preferably within the FP&A background
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from financial data
  3. Proficient in the use of financial analysis software and tools, such as Excel and financial modelling
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  5. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
