About the role

Asas Jati Enterprise is seeking a skilled and experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join our team on a contract basis in Alor Setar, Kedah. As a Site Safety Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our construction site personnel. This position is integral to the successful delivery of our projects and contributes directly to the overall objectives of the company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting regular site inspections to identify and address potential health and safety risks
  2. Implementing and enforcing safety policies, procedures and best practices on the construction site
  3. Providing training and guidance to site workers on safe work practices
  4. Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents that occur on the site
  5. Maintaining detailed records of safety activities, inspections and incidents
  6. Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to continuously improve site safety
  7. Ensuring the site complies with all relevant health and safety regulations and legislation

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
  2. Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with workers at all levels
  4. Ability to think critically, identify and resolve safety issues in a timely manner
  5. Proficient in using safety monitoring and reporting software
  6. Relevant health and safety certifications or qualifications
