The Resident Medical Doctor position provides frontline clinical care in a 24-hour primary care and preventive-health environment. This role is designed with a clear advancement pathway leading to
Person-In-Charge (PIC) with profit-sharing
, based on performance, capability development, and leadership readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Perform consultations, physical examinations, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Conduct preventive health screenings, chronic disease counselling, lifestyle interventions, and patient education.
  • Execute basic clinical procedures including vaccinations, minor dressings, T&S, minor surgical tasks, and basic ultrasound (with training and refresher support provided).
  • Ensure accurate clinical documentation and compliance with KKM , PDPA and clinic SOPs.
  • Promote preventive healthcare, wellness packages, early detection, and holistic care approaches.
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, medical assistants, and operations staff to ensure seamless clinic flow.
  • Maintain professionalism, composure, and patient-focused service in a 24-hour clinical setting.
  • Participate in CME, upskilling programmes, and in-house ultrasound training.
  • Work scheduled shifts, weekends, nights, and public holidays as required.

Requirements

  • Recognized Medical Degree (MBBS/MD) from an accredited institution.
  • Registered with MMC (Malaysian Medical Council) with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
  • 1–3 years of clinical experience in GP, wellness, or preventive healthcare.
  • Strong foundation in preventive medicine, health screening, chronic disease management, and patient education.
  • Clear and confident communication skills; able to explain diagnoses and treatment plans effectively.
  • Competent in basic clinical procedures; willing to enhance skills through provided training.
  • Passionate about healthy lifestyle promotion, disease prevention, and holistic patient care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Professional, calm, and patient-centered disposition.
  • Computer-literate with accuracy in EMR documentation.
  • Basic ultrasound capability (training and refresher courses provided).
  • Preferred skills: ultrasound, minor dressings, T&S, minor surgical skills
