Role Summary

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our enterprise-wide risk management agenda. As our Senior Manager, Risk, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding our organisation across operational, market, credit, technology, and corporate governance domains.

You will champion risk management with regulatory requirements, strengthen our governance framework, and embed a culture of proactive risk awareness at every level of the business. If you thrive on making a tangible impact and driving organisational resilience, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Risk Strategy – Design and implement robust risk management frameworks, ensuring seamless execution across all risk domains.
  2. Ensure Compliance Excellence – Keep policies aligned with evolving regulatory requirements (SC, BURSA, and relevant bodies) and ensure timely updates.
  3. Deliver Insightful Reporting – Create and present risk analytics, dashboards, and reports that provide leadership with a clear view of our risk profile.
  4. Collaborate with Key Stakeholders – Partner with auditors, regulators, board members, and internal teams on critical risk matters.
  5. Cultivate a Risk-Aware Culture – Drive training, awareness programs, and engagement initiatives across the organisation.

What We're Looking For

  1. Proven track record in risk management across multiple domains.
  2. Strong understanding of Malaysian regulatory frameworks and governance standards.
  3. Analytical thinker with exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  4. Proven ability to anticipate potential risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  5. Passion for building a culture of accountability and resilience.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or a related field.
  2. At least 6 years of relevant experience in risk management, internal controls, or a related field - preferably within the stockbroking industry.
