Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive to support the daily accounting operations of our company. The ideal candidate will handle bookkeeping, invoicing, payments and assist in preparing financial reports, while ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in handling full set of accounts.
  • Perform data entry, invoicing, payment processing, delivery orders, purchase order, credit note and payment receipt, balance sheet, income statement and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions including general ledger (GL), account payable (AP), account receivable (AR).
  • Prepare monthly reports and assist in closing of accounts.
  • Assist in SST submissions and tax-related matters.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents and company secretary when required.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Provide administrative and accounting support to the team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Computer literate and familiar with accounting software : SQL
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledges of Malaysian SST and basic tax compliance is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 – RM3,000.00 per month

Benefits: Meal allowance

Working Time: Monday to Friday 09:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay, Performance bonus

Education: Diploma or Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience: Accounting: 1-2 years (Required)

Language: Bahasa and English (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
