What You'll Bring

1. Possesses positive working attitude with can-do approach to all their tasks and responsibilities
2. Previous experience with structural steel or tower detailing
3. Must have Tekla or BOCAD software experience
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation drafting software.
5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

1) Team Coordination:

• Coordinate drafting activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality drawings and models.

2) Steel Structure/Tower Detailing:

• Prepare detailed drawings and 3D models for steel structures, including beams, columns, braces, trusses, and connections.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in all drawings, adhering to project requirements and industry standards.

3) Collaboration with Engineers and Project Managers:

• Work closely with structural engineers to interpret design intent and ensure that all details are accurately represented in the drawings.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure that drafting deliverables align with project schedules and budgets.

4) Quality Control and Standards Compliance:

• Implement and maintain quality control processes for all drafting activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Review and approve drawings prepared by junior drafters, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

5) Software Proficiency:

• Utilize industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla for drafting and modelling tasks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest software developments and best practices in structural drafting.

6) Document Management and Coordination:

• Manage and organize all drawing files and related documentation, ensuring easy retrieval and version control.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical) to integrate all aspects of the project into a cohesive set of drawings.

7) Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the drafting team and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Encourage a culture of continuous learning and professional development among team members.
