Regional Transactional Accounting Lead

Build and lead a high-performing regional accounting hub. At Allianz Partners' Finance Factory, you'll standardize, scale, and elevate transactional accounting for Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia—driving accurate, timely closes and actionable insight across multiple legal entities
This role anchors the integrity of our financials across a complex, multi-entity landscape. You will lead the Transactional Accounting Unit, shape processes and controls, optimize systems and data flows, and partner with country and regional stakeholders to deliver high-quality postings, strong reconciliations, and clear P&L and balance sheet narratives. Your leadership will enable faster, better decisions for the business.
What you'll do
- Own accurate, timely postings in Accounting Systems under local and IFRS GAAP, tax and legal requirements
- Review journals to finalize monthly results and identify/correct booking discrepancies
- Support external audits and drive closure of related findings
- Serve as the interface with local stakeholders; manage posting queries and ensure timely, coordinated responses
- Communicate roles, responsibilities, and processes of Transactional Accounting to local departments
- Analyze P&L and Balance Sheet by legal entity; identify shortcomings and implement corrections
- Monitor activity performance, encourage effective communication, and maintain internal controls and procedures
- Ensure the availability and effectiveness of IT tools supporting the unit

- Finance acumen with Accounting and Tax proficiency
- SAP proficiency
- Knowledge of Solvency II regulation
- HR acumen to lead, develop, and engage the team
