About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate & Commercial Associate to join our team. You will advise on transactions and commercial arrangements, manage matters end‑to‑end, and deliver practical, high‑quality solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle corporate transactions (M&A, investments): due diligence, drafting and negotiating SPAs, shareholders' agreements, and filings.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (supply, distribution, licensing, services, NDAs).
  • Advise on Companies Act compliance, governance, and PDPA requirements; prepare board/shareholder documentation.
  • Manage multiple matters efficiently, maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
  • Support cross‑practice work in banking/finance and property‑linked corporate matters.
  • Communicate proactively with clients and contribute to strong, long‑term relationships.

Qualifications

  • LL.B (Hons) or equivalent; admitted to practise in Malaysia.
  • Minimum
    3 years' post‑qualification experience
    in corporate and commercial work (law firm or in‑house).
  • Strong drafting, transaction management, and advisory skills.
  • Excellent English; Bahasa Malaysia proficiency preferred.
