About the role

Suruga Techno (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a full-time QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufacturing processes and end-products, contributing to the overall success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance plans and procedures to monitor and improve manufacturing processes
  2. Conduct thorough inspections, testing, and quality control checks at various stages of production
  3. Analyse and interpret quality data to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and implement solutions
  5. Document and maintain detailed records of quality control activities and findings
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices in quality assurance
  7. Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and techniques
  8. Data analysis for quality issue and customer complaint
  9. Prepare first part out going inspection report

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar quality assurance role within the manufacturing industry
  3. Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control methods
  4. Proficient in using quality control tools and software, Six Sigma, and quality management systems
  5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively at all levels
  7. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
