Responsibilities:

• Utilize SAP system to plan and translate demand and supply requirements for work orders and ensure sufficient material for production
• Create and complete production orders in SAP, input cycle count data and reconcile variances.
• Create and maintain production order integrity and documentation.
• Liaise with purchasing department to ensure purchase orders meet SAP demand.
• Liaise with Sales department to meet customer order commit dates.
• Seek continuous improvements and initiate corrective actions where applicable.
• Support new product introduction teams
• Review and provide input to Engineering Change Orders. Provide material impact analysis and implements approved changes in production as necessary.
• Resolve all work order discrepancies within 1 business day, cycle count related problems within 2 business days and MRB issues within 5 days.
• Notify Operations Director and Manufacturing Engineering of routing/BOM discrepancies
• Coordinate on time delivery of normal production and engineering projects, as appropriate.
• Participate in cross-functional team coordination.
• Track demand trends and makes appropriate proposals to management to avoid stock-out
• situations.
• Serve as the primary resource for shipping, receiving and logistics (including export compliance
• paperwork and other necessary shipping documents).
• Input product forecasting to SAP system to drive material demand as per forecast from business unit for order fulfillment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be familiar with an ERP system, specifically SAP (in PP and MM module); advantage for those experienced with S4 HANA
• Working knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing in a high-tech environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with shipping, receiving and logistics is a strong plus. Must be a self-starter and have the
• ability / desire to work in a fast-paced and progressive environment. Must have good judgment along with
• good decision-making, communication and interpersonal skills.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelors' degree, preferably in a business or Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of planning, or equivalent, experience in a manufacturing
• environment.
• Experience and working understanding of Engineering Change Orders, BOM's, and work order
• management.
