JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title : PLANNER

Direct report to : OPERATIONS MANAGER

Scope:

  1. This position involves ensuring that all established schedules and time lines involved in the production of goods are followed efficiently.

Key Job Authority:

  1. Authority to create and modify the schedule, detailing each sequence of work that should be done at particular time.

  2. Authority to evaluating the progress of projects and prepare regular updates.

Key Job Accountability

  1. Responsible for planning

  2. Responsible for timely progression of projects

  3. Responsible for keeping projects on track, cost control wise

Job Functions

  1. Liaise with Project Managers and schedule a plan to relevant machine shop after PO received.

  2. Modify plans to suit requirements and time constraints.

  3. Updates with progress and modifies the plan to formulate solutions for areas that are running behind.

  4. Analyzes inventory requirements in order to anticipate demand at various stages of projects.

  5. Maintaining a master schedule for projects.

  6. Create and modify the schedule, detailing each sequence of work that should be done at particular time.

  7. Track and record the effect of work being performed on time and not performed on time.

  8. Coordinate with management, operation department and vendors to discuss progress and find solutions to scheduling issues.

  9. Provide input in developing work schedules as part of illustrating project timelines and milestones.

  10. Preparing and issuing proposed and provisional schedule.

  11. Assist Project Managers in generating schedules for immediate implementation, as well as monitor the same schedule's impact on the master schedule.

Education/Training/Experience:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any other related field.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  1. In-depth knowledge of scheduling systems as well as the principles and practices involved.

  2. Resourceful and with extensive problem solving skills

Personal Traits

  1. Attention to detail.

  2. Demonstrates a high sense of responsibility and care when at work.

  3. Reliable.

Travelling Requirements

  1. Travelling is not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM7,000.00 per month
