Rehabilitation Speech Therapist (Full-Time)

Location: Singapore

We are representing a reputable hospital in Singapore in the search for a qualified Rehabilitation Speech Therapist to join their allied health team. This full-time role centres on managing adult patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders within various rehabilitation and medical care settings.

This role spans across acute wards, rehabilitation units (tertiary and slow-stream), community-based programmes, and home visit services. The department also leads specialised swallowing clinics (Videofluoroscopy and FEES) and engages in clinical research and ongoing professional development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and therapy for adult patients recovering from neurological, medical, or surgical conditions
  • Deliver treatment in inpatient, outpatient, and community rehabilitation settings
  • Conduct instrumental swallowing assessments (VFSS & FEES)
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient-centred care plans
  • Participate in audits, clinical research, and educational initiatives

Requirements:

  • Degree in Speech Therapy recognised by Singapore's Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
  • Open to Malaysian graduates from UKM, USM, or IIUM (temporarily recognised by AHPC)
  • Prior experience in adult rehabilitation and dysphagia management preferred
  • Committed to delivering evidence-based, high-quality care
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
