Advertisement & Promotional (A&P) Assistant Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Advertisement & Promotional Assistant Manager to lead all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities for The Capitol. This role will be responsible for increasing footfall, enhancing tenant visibility, and elevating the overall building brand through creative campaigns and well-executed promotions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail marketing, event planning, and media buying, along with the ability to collaborate with tenants and third-party vendors to create engaging consumer experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute annual marketing and advertising plans to drive traffic, tenant sales, and brand awareness.
  • Conceptualize and implement promotional campaigns, events, and seasonal activations within the retail podium, targeting key customer demographics.
  • Collaborate with tenants to support individual store promotions, product launches, and co-branded campaigns.
  • Plan media strategies and manage media buying across digital, print, radio, OOH, and social media platforms.
  • Coordinate with creative agencies, designers, and production vendors to deliver high-quality campaign materials.
  • Lead all in-podium branding and signage initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall brand guidelines and mall aesthetics.
  • Negotiate sponsorship and partnership deals with brands, media outlets, and local organizations.
  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure all campaigns deliver maximum ROI within allocated spend.
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness and mall traffic trends, using data analytics tools, footfall counters, and surveys to assess impact.
  • Ensure all promotional activities comply with companies' policies, safety regulations, and legal standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or advertising, with at least 2 years in a mall, retail, or real estate environment.
  • Proven experience in organizing medium-scale events, seasonal campaigns, and tenant activations.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with mall marketing tools, footfall analysis, and digital engagement strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta Business Suite), analytics tools, and design collaboration (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
