Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform nursing duties in accordance with clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist doctors during consultations, examinations, and minor procedures.
  • Prepare clinic rooms, instruments, and equipment before and after each session.
  • Carry out patient triage including taking vital signs, medical history, and preliminary assessments.
  • Administer medications, injections, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
  • Provide patient education and counselling regarding treatment plans, follow-up care, and medication usage.
  • Handle appointment scheduling and ensure smooth patient flow within the clinic.
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records in the clinic system.
  • Ensure proper infection control, cleanliness, and sterilization of instruments and workspace.
  • Assist in emergency situations and follow emergency response protocols.
  • Support clinic stock management including ordering, receiving, and monitoring of consumables and medical supplies.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse with valid APC (Annual Practising Certificate).
  • Previous experience in specialist clinic, hospital outpatient, or related field is an added advantage.
  • Good communication skills, patient-centered, and able to work in a fast-paced clinic environment.

  • Able to work in a team and handle patients professionally and courteously.

  • Willing to work in shift rotation, including weekends and public holidays.

  • Able to be based in Johor Bahru.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
