Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor performance data from multiple inverter and monitoring platforms (e.g., Huawei, Sungrow, SolarEdge, CSI), especially PPA sites.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators such as energy yield, system uptime, and performance ratio (PR).
  • Detect and report abnormalities or underperformance through data analytics and alarm trends.
  • Support root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of inverter, communication, or string-level faults.
  • Coordinate with site technicians to verify system health and assist in maintenance execution.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for internal review and clients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, system logs, and maintenance records.
  • Assist the Lead O&M Engineer in planning and tracking preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Recommend performance optimization measures, firmware updates, and hardware improvements.
  • Ensure all works comply with safety procedures, quality standards, and local regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Renewable Energy, (or equivalent).
  • 1–3 years of experience in solar PV operations, maintenance, or system monitoring.
  • Exposure to both commercial and residential solar systems is an advantage.
  • Understanding of PV system components (modules, inverters, DC strings, BOS).
  • Familiar with SCADA or inverter monitoring platforms.
  • Skilled in Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics/reporting tools.
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Modbus, RS485).
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams (SLD).
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and data-driven.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Positive, safety-conscious, and solution-oriented mindset.
