Position Title: Creative Event Design Intern

Summary of the Role:

The Creative Event Design Intern supports the conceptualization and execution of event experiences that align with brand objectives and storytelling direction. This role involves assisting the team in developing creative concepts, designing visual mockups, and contributing ideas that enhance the overall audience experience. Success in this role means delivering fresh, well-thought-out creative ideas that can be translated into visually engaging and immersive event designs, while maintaining consistency with the company's brand identity and client expectations.

This position plays a key role within the Marketing & Events team, bridging creativity with execution. The intern will collaborate closely with designers, event planners, and production teams to bring concepts to life, ensuring that each project reflects innovation, coherence, and visual impact.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing creative concepts, themes, and visual storyboards for event proposals and pitches
  • Support the design and layout of event materials, including stage setups, booths, décor elements, and digital assets
  • Collaborate with the event and production teams to ensure creative alignment throughout the event execution process
  • Conduct research on design trends, materials, and experiential ideas to enhance creative outputs
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for event narratives and brand activations
  • Prepare presentation decks and visual mockups to communicate design concepts clearly to clients and internal teams

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, Mass Communication, Event Management, or related fields
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva) is an advantage
  • Strong creative thinking, storytelling, and visualisation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for events, design, and creating memorable audience experiences
