Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday – Friday | Flexible Hours (OT Claimable)


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Solution Architect (Java) to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-level software solutions that align with business needs and organizational goals. You will work closely with development teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.


Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture Governance & Solution Design

  • Design and enhance software systems to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and propose optimal technical solutions for enterprise environments.
  • Document software structures and identify gaps or improvement areas in existing solutions.
  • Align business processes and application architectures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop frameworks, prototypes, and standards to guide development teams.

2. Project Management & Technical Leadership

  • Lead and mentor technical teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Manage collaboration frameworks, technical risks, and project timelines.
  • Define solution requirements, system features, and ensure quality delivery within budget.
  • Assess business impact of technical decisions and provide effective solutions under tight deadlines.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT architecture and software development.
  • Strong background in software architecture design, microservices, and cloud development.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Java, Kotlin, and C#.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Framework.
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and distributed in-memory caches.
  • Familiar with DevOps practices and multiple operating systems.
