We are looking for
QA Lead
to drive testing strategy, quality engineering practices, and team coordination across strategic initiatives.

Experienced QA Lead (4–7 years)

  • Hands-on QA lead experience across multiple projects.
  • Strong coordination of QA analysts and working in Agile environments.

Senior QA Lead / QA Manager (7+ years)

  • Proven leadership on strategic programs or large-scale initiatives.
  • Ability to lead one or multiple QA teams.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, testing automation concepts, and development processes.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in
    financial services, banking, or insurance
    industries.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or equivalent learning paths (e.g., bootcamps).

Certifications:

  • ISTQB
    (must-have)
  • ITIL
    (added advantage)

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong grasp of
    testing methodologies, strategy definition, and project delivery frameworks
    .
  • Solid knowledge of
    SDLC and software development lifecycle methodologies
    .
  • Understanding of
    Information Security & Risk Management
    fundamentals.
  • Practical experience with Test management tools (Squash TM, ALM, or equivalent)
  • Jira and MS Office
  • Domain knowledge in Fund distribution, Fund accounting, Banking / custody services

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop
    test strategies
    and detailed test approaches for assigned projects.
  • Manage overall
    test activities
    , ensuring alignment with Quality Engineering standards.
  • Ensure test objectives are met through strong test case coverage, prioritisation, execution tracking, and reporting.
  • Coordinate deliverables from QA analysts and automation teams.
  • Review and challenge QA artefacts including estimations, prioritisation, test schedules, test results, defect reports, and UAT activities.
  • Ensure test phases follow approved methodologies and frameworks.
  • Prepare
    test execution reports
    and drive sign-off from stakeholders.
  • Define requirements for test environments and test support, ensuring readiness.
  • Facilitate issue escalations, prioritisation, and resolution during testing cycles.
  • Set up and administer projects within the test repository (Squash).
  • Lead creation, execution, and optimisation of test automation across the application lifecycle.
  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project members from initiation to closure.
  • Build strong working relationships, manage conflicts, and escalate issues where appropriate.
