Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee food preparation and ensure timely execution of menu items.
  • Supervise kitchen staff to ensure adherence to recipes and portion control.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs to the purchasing team.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and occupational health standards.
  • Inspect and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting issues promptly.
  • Support training and development of junior kitchen staff.
  • Coordinate with service staff to meet customer expectations and handle any kitchen-related concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a professional kitchen setting.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of standard food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Culinary certification or equivalent experience preferred.
