The Storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining stock levels, ensuring the proper storage of raw materials, packaging materials and semi-finished and finished goods. This role is critical in ensuring uninterrupted production flow in a card manufacturing environment, which demands accuracy, quality, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect and store incoming materials.
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing materials are recorded accurately in inventory management software.
  • Maintain stock levels in accordance with production needs and reorder levels.
    • Issue raw materials and supplies to production based on requisitions or production plans.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and ensure all items are properly labeled and stored.
  • Ensure sensitive materials (e.g., chips, encoded cards, security foils) are handled and stored securely.
  • Monitor shelf life/expiry dates of chemicals, inks, adhesives, and other consumables.
  • Work closely with procurement, production, and quality control departments to ensure accurate material flow.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and traceability, especially in ISO-certified or security-sensitive environments.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Basic computer skills – MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials when needed.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive materials
