Role Description

Our Claims Department is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented
Inwards Claims Support Intern
to assist with daily operations, data management, and claims processing activities.

This internship is ideal for students who enjoy working with data, have strong analytical skills, and want to understand the end-to-end flow of insurance claims and reinsurance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Claims Data Management and Administration

  2. Update, verify, and reconcile inwards claims records.

  3. Assist in updating new and paid claims in the Integral backend system.
  4. Maintain accurate documentation and support backlog clearance.

Verification and Compliance

  • Review supporting documents submitted by cedants.
  • Ensure claims are processed in accordance with internal procedures and compliance standards.

Reporting and Coordination

  • Organize claim data for reporting purposes.
  • Follow up with cedants on pending or time-barred cases to ensure timely updates.

4.
Projects & Ad-Hoc Support

  • Participate in administrative projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist the team on ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a
    Bachelor's Degree or Diploma
    in Insurance, Risk Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Strong computer skills with
    advanced Microsoft Excel
    capability (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Filters, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to handle large volumes of data.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Able to commit to a full 6-month internship.
