About the role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic intern to join our dynamic accounting and audit team at Serene & Co'. As an Internship for Audit/Tax/Accounting, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a range of financial services, including external auditing, taxation, and general accounting. This is a contract role based in Kajang and Subang Jaya, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the planning and execution of external audits for a diverse range of clients
  • Support the preparation of tax returns and other tax-related documents
  • Contribute to the maintenance of financial records and the preparation of financial statements
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to develop communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborate with the team to identify areas for process improvements and implement efficient solutions
  • Continuously expand your knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  • A keen interest in the accounting, auditing, and taxation domains
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
