Position:
Internship – Accounting

The intern will assist in managing the cooperative's financial records, bookkeeping, and day-to-day accounting tasks while gaining real-world experience in cooperative financial operations



Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and summaries.
  2. Perform data entry for daily transactions and maintain proper record-keeping.
  3. Support the preparation of invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
  4. Assist in reconciling bank statements and monitoring cash flow.
  5. Organize and update financial documents in both physical and digital formats.
  6. Assist in preparing documents for audits, SKM submissions, or financing applications.
  7. Help monitor member contributions, fees, and loan-related documentation.
  8. Collaborate with the finance and management team for monthly closing activities.
  9. Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all accounting tasks.


Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Familiarity with accounting software is a bonus (e.g., SQL, UBS, AutoCount, or others).
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Able to work onsite at the KOWADI office.
  • Fast learner, responsible, and able to work independently.
