Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Nursing Lecturer / Clinical Instructor to support both academic teaching and clinical training. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering theoretical nursing education and supervising students during clinical practice to ensure competency, professionalism, and patient safety.

Responsibilities

Lecturer:

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and skills lab sessions for nursing programmes
  • Develop and update teaching materials in line with Nursing Board Malaysia (NBM) requirements
  • Assess student performance through examinations, and assignments
  • Participate in curriculum development, academic meetings, and quality assurance activities

Clinical Instructor:

  • Supervise and mentor nursing students during clinical postings
  • Ensure students adhere to clinical guidelines, SOPs, and patient safety standards
  • Liaise with hospitals and clinical partners regarding student placements
  • Evaluate students' clinical performance and professionalism
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing with Post Basic qualification (for Lecturer position)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (for Clinical Instructor position)

    (Post Basic or Master's Degree will be an added advantage)
  • Registered Nurse with Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia (LJM)
  • Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
  • Teaching experience is an advantage (but not compulsory for Clinical Instructor role)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
