We're looking for a seasoned Chef de Partie to run an assigned section to high standards, support menu execution, and mentor junior cooks in a fast-paced, quality-driven kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage your section (hot/cold/pastry/butcher) during prep and service.
  • Produce dishes to spec, portion, and presentation standards; maintain consistency.
  • Oversee mise en place, stock rotation (FIFO), and waste control.
  • Uphold food safety: temperature logs, labelling, cleanliness, and HACCP/SOP compliance.
  • Train, coach, and supervise Commis/Demi Chef; ensure smooth pass coordination.
  • Support menu development, tastings, and seasonal updates; provide costing input.
  • Communicate effectively with service team to ensure timely service.

Requirements (Must-Have)

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a professional kitchen, including at least 1–2 years as CDP (or strong Demi stepping up).
  • Solid technical skills (sauces, butchery, grill/saute, plating) and pace under pressure.
  • Proven knowledge of HACCP/food hygiene and kitchen safety.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and leadership of a small team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Culinary certificate/diploma preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Hotel/resort or high-volume banqueting background.
  • Experience with menu engineering and basic food costing.
