Job Summary:

The senior quality system engineer will contribute to developing the Quality strategy, policies, processes, standards, and systems for the company and its supply chain to operate within. Lead and undertake audits across all areas of the business as well as across the supply chain. Provide training and champion the Quality Management System.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct internal audits, data collection, and analysis to assure compliance with the QMS.

  2. Complete customer and external surveys related to quality systems.

  3. Participate in all customer and external agency audits. Follow up all audit findings and report the status to customer until closed.

  4. Conducts training on quality management systems, ISO, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, Quality Tools etc.

  5. Facilitate implementation of documents; company level data and records control related activities.

  6. Sustain the revisions of the quality system related procedure and work instructions.

  7. May assist with hiring manufacturing engineers.

  8. Mentors and trains junior quality engineers on policies and SOP.

  9. May assist with performance evaluations.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline required.

  • At least 3 years of quality system experience required; supervisory experience is a plus.

  • Experience in ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 audits.

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of quality system engineer.

  • Knowledge of quality systems.

  • Strong knowledge of FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, and PPAP.

  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge.

  • Knowledge of TS16949 and ISO9000.

  • Understanding of ISO14001 and Health and Safety Practices.

  • Knowledge of measurement.

  • Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.

  • Planning and prioritizing activities.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to present data effectively.

  • Problem-solving skills and team working skills.

  • Ability to work on own initiative.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM6,000.00 per month
