Role Description

Chery Malaysia is seeking a full-time Customs Specialist to join our on-site team in Lembah Beringin. The role involves managing and coordinating customs clearance processes for the import and export of goods. Responsibilities include working closely with customs authorities, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing necessary documentation, and assisting in resolving customs-related issues. The ideal candidate will provide support in optimizing customs procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Customs Brokerage and Import-Export processes
  • Strong understanding of Export and Import regulations and procedures
  • Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to liaise with authorities and internal teams
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Thorough understanding of customs laws, compliance practices, and documentation requirements
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for customs operations (e.g., electronic filing systems)
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is an advantage
