Job Description

  • Perform reviews of credit facilities to assess compliance with credit policies and risk mitigation measures

  • Assist in evaluating credit policies and procedures, highlighting gaps and recommending enhancements

  • Identify potential credit risks and trends, and escalate findings to senior team members for further action

  • Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing review results, observations, and recommendations

  • Ensure activities comply with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) guidelines and internal standards

  • Provide guidance to business units on credit risk matters under supervision

  • Track implementation of corrective actions and report progress

  • Work closely with internal audit, risk teams, and business units to support credit assurance objectives

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

  • 3–5 years in credit risk, credit review, or internal audit within banking or financial services

  • Basic understanding of credit products and lending processes

  • Familiarity with BNM guidelines and credit risk frameworks

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently with guidance and as part of a team

  • Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy
