Requirements:

1.     Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management, Accounting, or an equivalent qualification.

2.     Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a related field.

3.     Experience and specialization in government compliance related to sale tax/ customs duty or and accounting related area are preferred.

4.     Proficiency in the SAP system will be added advantage.

Job Descriptions:

Statutory & Compliance Reporting

·       Liaise with relevant government authorities, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.

·       Assist with monthly account closing and bank reconciliations, coordinating with other departments as needed.

·       Prepare and reconcile statutory payments, monthly/ quarterly Customs reports, and Bank Negara statistical reports.

·       Manage manufacturing compliance approvals and related documentation.

·       Compile quarterly risk management reports for various departments.

·       Submit bi-monthly sales tax, monthly service tax returns, and material return permits.

·       Respond to audit queries and ad hoc requests from government authorities.

·       Support the HOD during annual statutory audits and prepare relevant information for auditors.

·       Perform ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as assigned.
