We are looking for a *Boilerman with 1st Grade certificate* who will be responsible for operating and maintaining boiler to ensure continuous supply of steam with required pressure to production.

  • Responsibilities:

  • To operate fire tube steam boiler to achieve the required operation parameters

  • To ensure the quality of water supply by taking care of chemical treatment of boiler feed water

  • To trouble shoot, perform minor repairs, and report abnormal issues found from daily inspection on boiler and its components including fuel and internal gas pipeline

  • To manage relevant boiler spare parts and inventory

  • To perform daily checking on all steam valves and steam traps and report abnormalities

  • To prepare boiler and supervise maintenance for DOSH annual inspection and assist superior during the inspection

  • To ensure overall safety at boiler area and the boiler operation is in safe condition and compliance to Malaysian Laws

  • Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM.

  • Familiar with boiler requirements for operations and maintenance in accordance to Occupational Safety Health Act 1994 and Factories and Machinery Act 1967 (Act 139), Regulations 1970 and Regulations 2014.

  • Familiar on steam boiler JKKP inspection and maintenance works.

  • Technical skills in Operating of Firetube Steam Boiler.

  • Good writing proficiency in English and Malay language.

  • Authorised Gas Tester and Entry Supervisor for Confined Space.

  • SCADA System Operation

Job Type: Full-time
