Role Summary

Responsible for leading system integration activities during mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up. Ensures smooth coordination between topsides, hull, marine and utility systems, and supports system readiness for handover.

Responsibilities

  • Lead integration work across topside, hull, marine and utility systems.
  • Coordinate mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for assigned systems.
  • Review and prepare commissioning procedures, test packs, system boundary drawings and system integration plans.
  • Conduct system walkdowns, verify punch lists and ensure timely closure.
  • Monitor commissioning progress, report constraints and ensure alignment with project schedule.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, HSE, and vendor teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Support FAT/SAT, package interface, vendor mobilisation and system energisation tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO, isolation and SIMOPs requirements.
  • Maintain commissioning documentation, ITRs, dossiers and system handover records.
  • Use CMS tools (ICAPS/WinPCS/Hexagon or similar) to track MC/Pre-Comm/Comm status.

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years commissioning experience in FLNG/FPSO/offshore oil & gas projects.
  • Hands-on experience in system integration between multiple disciplines (process, mechanical, E&I, marine).
  • Strong understanding of P&IDs, SLDs, C&E charts, loop drawings, isolation philosophy and commissioning logic.
  • Yard commissioning experience (China/Korea/Singapore preferred but not mandatory).
  • Familiar with CMS platforms such as ICAPS, WinPCS or equivalent.
  • Able to coordinate vendor teams and multi-discipline construction groups.
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical or similar engineering field.
  • Valid BOSIET/FOET, medical, offshore fitness.
  • OGSP and H2S awareness are added advantages.
  • Able to relocate to China.
