About the Role

We are seeking a
Senior QA Engineer / Assistant QA Manager
who will act as the
primary focal person for ISO 9001
and ensure all Quality Assurance (QA) and QMS activities across the Group are effectively implemented, maintained, and continuously improved.

This role requires someone with strong technical and documentation capabilities, especially in
ISO 9001
, along with experience supporting
Oil & Gas, NDT, inspection, or technical service operations
.

Basic knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is an added advantage but not the main focus.

Key Responsibilities

1. ISO 9001 Lead & QMS Management (Main Focus)

  • Lead, manage, and maintain the Group's
    Quality Management System (QMS)
    in full compliance with ISO 9001.
  • Develop, review, update, and control ISO 9001 documentation:
  • Quality Manual
  • QA policies & procedures
  • SOPs, process flows, and work instructions
  • Risk assessments, NCR/CAR processes
  • Forms, templates, checklists, compliance registers
  • Implement strong
    document version control
    and centralized filing system.
  • Plan and conduct internal quality audits across departments and project operations.
  • Coordinate external audits with certification bodies and close audit findings.

2. Continuous Improvement, NCR Management & Compliance

  • Lead root cause analysis and manage corrective & preventive actions.
  • Monitor quality KPIs, trends, and customer feedback to drive improvement initiatives.
  • Strengthen internal processes to support consistent and repeatable service delivery across all divisions.
  • Support development of project quality plans and tender QA submissions.

3. Customer, Project & Vendor Interface

  • Engage with clients during pre-qualification, audits, and project QA reviews.
  • Prepare QA presentations, compliance evidence, and audit documentation for customers (Oil & Gas operators, EPCs, service providers).
  • Coordinate with Procurement to ensure vendor qualification and compliance standards are met.

Requirements

  • Minimum
    5 years' experience
    in QA/QMS, preferably as
    QMR, QA Engineer, or QA Executive
    .
  • Strong, hands-on experience with ISO 9001
    (main requirement).
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO added advantage only).
  • Experience in
    Oil & Gas service sector
    is highly preferred.
  • Engineering degree required.
  • Strong documentation skills and understanding of certification requirements.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle tight deadlines.
  • Immediate or short-notice availability preferred.
