Role Durations: 6-7 months contract

Key Responsibilities

 Provide technical oversight and assurance on all LE Study work by consultant

 Review and challenge methodologies, assumptions, models and results

(global/local strength, fatigue, hull–turret interface, etc.).

 Ensure compliance with consultant's Life Extension requirements and company's project

objectives.

 Coordinate technical interfaces with client and consultant.

 Support conversion of study outputs into executable RLE work packages (steel

renewals, structural strengthening).

 Report progress, risks and key issues to company's Project Manager / management.

Candidate Profile

 Degree in Naval Architecture, Structural or Marine Engineering.

 Minimum 10 years' relevant FPSO/FSO or offshore hull & structural engineering

experience.

 Strong background in hull strength and fatigue assessment; familiarity with FEA

tools (e.g. SACS, ANSYS) an advantage.

 Prior experience dealing with Classification Societies on engineering submissions

/ life extension / conversion projects.

 Good communication skills; able to interface with Owner, Consultant, Class and

Shipyard.
