ASEAN Government Relations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an ASEAN Government Relations Manager to support and strengthen the company's engagement with government ministries, regulators, and industry bodies across ASEAN countries. This role ensures alignment between business priorities and the evolving regulatory and policy landscape within the technology services sector, while maintaining visibility at the ministerial level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, ministries, regulators, trade associations, and industry stakeholders across ASEAN.
  • Support engagement with immigration authorities and related bodies to ensure access to global and regional talent.
  • Develop and support advocacy strategies aligned with company business objectives.
  • Represent the company in government consultations, industry forums, and working groups.
  • Prepare policy briefs, position papers, talking points, and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal business, legal, HR, and public policy teams to identify initiatives that provide maximum visibility and business impact.
  • Monitor regulatory and policy developments relevant to the technology and consulting sectors.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4–7 years of experience in Government Relations, Public Policy, or Regulatory Affairs, preferably within the technology or consulting sector.
  • Demonstrated experience working with ministries and government departments relevant to technology, digital services, and consulting.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to operate in a multi-country, cross-cultural ASEAN environment.
  • High integrity, adaptability, and professionalism.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience engaging with immigration, workforce, or talent mobility authorities.
  • Familiarity with ASEAN regulatory environments and public policy frameworks.
  • Strong written skills for policy briefs and executive communication.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM15, RM20,000.00 per month

Experience:
