Assistant Treasury Manager

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support the Group's treasury operations — managing cash flow, banking relationships, funding, and financial risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cash Management: Monitor daily cash positions, forecast liquidity, and manage intercompany fund transfers.
  • Banking: Maintain relationships with banks, negotiate rates and fees, and ensure timely bank reconciliations.
  • Working Capital: Optimize cash flow through efficient management of loans, investments, and payables.
  • Funding & Debt: Support financing activities, monitor covenants, and plan for future funding needs.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage currency, interest rate, and counterparty risks; execute hedging when needed.
  • Investments: Manage short-term investments to balance safety, liquidity, and returns.
  • Operations & Controls: Maintain strong treasury processes, systems, and internal controls.
  • Reporting: Prepare cash flow reports and variance analysis for management.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to policies, banking, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordination: Work closely with finance teams and support treasury projects or system enhancements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; professional qualification preferred.
  • 3–5 years' experience in treasury, cash management, or corporate finance.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of banking products, FX, and financial instruments.
  • Excellent communication and integrity in handling confidential matters.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM8,000.00 per month
