We are looking for QC Lab Technician (Chemist) to further strengthen our Quality department.

As a QC Lab Technician (Chemist), you will need to be a key person in
daily laboratory
analyses, equipment performance, and documentation while ensuring accurate
results, compliance, and proper stock management. The role also supports method
validation, equipment calibration, safety investigations, corporate analytical
projects, training of technicians, and preparation of monthly reports.

Some of your main duties & responsibilities:

To monitor daily LIMS and
SharePoint approvals for analyses performed by the QC Instrument teamTo Track daily
performance of key equipmentYou need to ensure the
team follows correct setups for critical analysesYou need to verify daily
results generated by the QC Instrument teamYou serve as backup for
Quality Team Lead 2 during their absenceYou are required to issue
PR and perform MIGO for QC operation–related itemsTo maintain SDS and COA
documents for received chemicals, reagents, standards and CRMsTo prepare SIS
documentation for the QC LabTo update QC checks for
selected contaminant analysesYou need to maintain
weekly and monthly internal PM records for critical equipmentYou need to record
monthly consumption of chemicals and consumablesTo lead to ensure all chemicals
and consumables are well maintained in terms of the stock levelTo lead in any safety-related
RCATo execute Corporate
Project – analytical method and new equipment setupYou are required to participate
in method validation, include identification on LOQYou are required to participate
in proficiency test and ensure result meeting z-scoreTo handle calibration for
key equipmentYou are the key trainer
for the QC Lab TechnicianYou are required to prepare
monthly report



You'll succeed if:

You have possess at least Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or Oleochemistry equivalentYou have experience in QC Laboratory at least 3 - 5 year(s), preferable Oil & Fat or Oleochemical industryYou have experience & Knowledge in troubleshooting with equipmentYou have knowledge in ISO 17025, GLP, GMP, ISO 9001 will be added valueYou have knowledge in software - LIMS, SAP, ppt.You have basic computer skills – Microsoft Word & ExcelYou have strong attention to detailsYou have the ability to work independently and as part of a teamYou are good in presentation skill and communicationYou are willing to travel to Pulau Indah, Port
