Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance and Accounting professional based in Cyberjaya. The individual will be responsible for managing financial statements, performing accounting tasks, conducting financial analysis, and providing insightful financial reports. Day-to-day tasks include bookkeeping, budgeting, financial forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, the role involves communicating financial information effectively to various stakeholders within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Senior Executive Group Consolidation & Reporting

• Oversee and ensure accuracy of financial reports and reconciliations prepared by executives.
• Review month-end and year-end closing entries.
• Liaise with internal teams and external auditors for timely reporting.
• Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Mentor and guide junior finance executives.

2. Executive Group Consolidation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly financial statements and reports.
• Monitor account reconciliations, cash flows, and intercompany transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in preparation of management and statutory reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to queries from other departments and auditors.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as requested.

1. Senior Executive Group Consolidation & Reporting

• Accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Timely completion of reporting and audit requirements.

2. Executive Group Consolidation & Reporting

• Timely submission of reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Accuracy of reconciliations.

• Support efficiency in month-end/year-end closing.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience for Executive; 3+ years for Senior Executive.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/finance systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
