Senior Florist

The Senior Florist leads the creation of high-quality floral arrangements, mentors junior florists, and ensures quality control of all floral products. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and extensive experience in floral design for both retail and events. The Senior Florist will also conduct flower workshops and handle flower purchasing, stock management, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create premium floral arrangements for daily orders, events, and special projects.
• Guide and mentor junior florists in floral design, preparation, and techniques.
• Conduct final quality checks on floral products before delivery or customer handover.
• Manage the preparation and setup for floral installations at events or venues.
• Ensure all floral designs align with brand standards for creativity and quality.
• Collaborate with the Head of Design and Production Supervisor for workflow planning.
• Handle flower purchasing, monitor stock usage, and manage daily and monthly flower cost accounts.
• Lead production team, plan and assign tasks, ensuring smooth production flow and team scheduling.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the floral workspace.
• Assist in training sessions and the development of florist SOPs.
• Conduct flower workshops to develop the skills of junior florists and enhance client engagement.
• Assist the Senior Manager with all assigned tasks and support daily operational needs as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a florist.
• Proven expertise in bouquet design, floral installations, and event setups.
• Creative flair with a strong understanding of flower types, color matching, and design balance.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak seasons.
• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
• Strong organizational skills for managing stock, costs, and team schedules.
• Experience in conducting flower workshops is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
