Job Purpose:

To provide exceptional and culturally authentic dining experiences for our guests. You will be a key representative of our brand, ensuring smooth service operations while catering to both our local and Mandarin-speaking clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service & Communication

  • Greet guests warmly, creating an immediate welcoming atmosphere.
  • Accurately explain our menu, including ingredients, specialty of the products
  • Take food and beverage orders efficiently, paying close attention to special requests or dietary needs.
  • Handle guest inquiries and feedback professionally. Resolve minor issues promptly or escalate to a supervisor when necessary.
  • Build rapport with our customers, making them feel at home and encouraging repeat business.

2. Operational Excellence (Applying F&B Experience)

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the F&B service cycle: from mise-en-place and greeting to order-taking, serving, and settling bills.
  • Serve food and beverages correctly and efficiently, following established standards.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized section, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Assist in setting up the outlet before service and closing down procedures after service.
  • Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, following the outlet's cash handling procedures.

3. Teamwork & Attitude (Demonstrating Hard Work & Willingness to Learn)

  • Work diligently during peak hours, maintaining a positive attitude and a strong pace.
  • Proactively support colleagues without needing to be asked, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Show a strong willingness to learn about our business, brand values, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Accept constructive feedback from supervisors and senior staff and apply it to improve performance.
  • Be adaptable and willing to take on additional tasks as required, including assisting in other areas of the outlet.

Candidate Requirements (Must-Have):

  • Language: Preferably able to read and speak Mandarin fluently to communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and a significant portion of our clientele.
  • Experience: Must have some experience in the F&B industry (e.g., as a server, cashier, or crew in a restaurant, cafe, or hotel). Familiarity with basic service procedures is essential.
  • Attitude: Must be hardworking, reliable, and possess a strong willingness to learn new skills
