Four Seasons Hotel and Residences is part of a 65-storey mixed-use tower that will include 242 Four Seasons Private Residences, 27 serviced apartments, a 209-key Four Seasons Hotel and a six- floor of 250,000 square foot luxury retail podium, collectively known as Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur. The Hotel introduces several unique dining outlets to the city, including a Cantonese restaurant, lobby and rooftop pool bars, and an all-day dining restaurant with sweeping views of the Petronas Twin Towers. Four Seasons Hotel and Residences is located in the Golden Triangle neighborhood, Kuala Lumpur's thriving business and financial district. The latest addition to the city's dramatic skyline and a vibrant hub for both business and leisure travelers, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur will be conveniently located in close proximity to the city's major attractions, including the Petronas Twin Towers and the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC). F&B Hostess - Bar

F&B Hostess is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. By nature of the position, F&B Hostess is the guest's first impression of the bar. F&B Hostess greets guests promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, and a smile. Utilizing Open Table, F&B Hostess takes reservations, reviews the daily reservation book and has the ability to seat guests without reservations. F&B Hostess has a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and what is unavailable for that day. A principle role within the restaurant, F&B Hostess is familiar with server stations, their daily assignments, their personal timing patterns and their maximum workload capacity. F&B Hostess is also familiar with frequent guests and knows their names and preferences.

Responsibilities:

• Seat guests promptly at a table pre-set for the number in the party and according to guest preference.

• Set up Hostess stand, review guest reservation book, and make recommendations as to the set-up of the room, maintain a station chart and cover count for the bar while recognizing the maximum workload capacity of each server in order to meet Four Seasons Service standards.

• Answer telephones according to Four Seasons standards and take guest reservations or provide information regarding the restaurant or any other hotel service.

• Anticipate the needs of guests, respond accordingly to guest inquiries or problems, and recognize regular guests by name and utilize the guest's name consistently.

• Inspect and maintain daily menus to ensure quality, condition and appearance while developing a complete working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials.

• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

• Complete special projects (menu changes, signage, etc) as instructed. 

• Ensure proper table set-up and make minor adjustments as needed. 

Qualifications: 

• Poses an affinity for guest service.

• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.

• Good knowledge in food and beverage.

• Ability to use the Micros Operating System is an advantage.

• Ability to lift up to 60lbs.

• Able to work a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as per business demands and needs.

• Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.

• Must be able to speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia.

• Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
