**We are looking for Bar Associates to Bar Supervisor to join our team located at Menara Ilham Kuala Lumpur.**
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**1. Barback**
- Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, and other bar supplies throughout the shift.
- Clean and sanitize glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Ensure the bar area is tidy and free of debris, spills, or hazards.
- Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes, syrups, and other bar essentials.
- Collect and remove empty glasses, plates, and trash from the bar area.
- Maintain a steady supply of ice and clean towels for bartenders.
- Monitor stock levels and notify management when inventory is low.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up or breaking down the bar.
- Support bartenders during busy shifts, such as running drinks or taking additional orders when needed.
- Qualifications:_
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) for extended
**2. Bartender**
- Greet guests, take orders, and serve beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) efficiently.
- Mix and garnish cocktails according to recipes or guest preferences.
- Monitor inventory and restock bar supplies as needed.
- Handle payments and operate POS systems accurately.
- Comply with local alcohol serving regulations and ensure guest safety.
- Keep the bar area clean and organized at all times.
- Engage with customers, provide recommendations, and resolve any issues or complaints.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and cash-out procedures.
- Qualifications:_
- Previous bartending experience preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of popular cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
**3. Bar Server**
a) Guest Service:
- Greet guests promptly and with a friendly attitude.
- Take drink and food orders accurately, providing suggestions and answering menu questions when necessary.
- Serve beverages and food in accordance with company standards and legal guidelines.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or issues.
b) Order Management:
- Input orders into the POS system accurately.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests.
- Coordinate with bartenders and kitchen staff to fulfill orders efficiently.
c) Bar Maintenance:
- Keep the bar area clean and well-organized, including tables, seating areas, and countertops.
- Stock and restock bar supplies (e.g., napkins, glassware, utensils).
- Maintain cleanliness of menus, trays, and utensils.
d) Compliance:
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and alcohol service laws.
- Ensure ID checks are conducted to verify legal drinking age.
e) Team Collaboration:
- Assist bartenders and other servers during busy periods.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless operations.
f) Upselling and Promotions:
- Promote daily specials, events, and featured drinks.
- Upsell beverages and food items to increase sales.

- Escort guests to their tables or bar seats, ensuring their comfort.
- Managing Reservations and Seating:
- Handle reservations efficiently, using a booking system or manual process.
- Coordinate seating to maximize bar capacity while maintaining an excellent guest experience.
- Manage waitlists and keep guests updated about table availability.
- Assisting with Guest Needs:
- Provide information about the bar’s menu, promotions, or events.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests professionally.
- Collaborate with servers and bartenders to ensure guests receive prompt service.
