OVERVIEW

  • To lead respective section in handling daily activities and monitoring team performance.
  • Manage sourcing activities for MRO related items and services.
  • Understand the requirements from stakeholder.
  • Able to work with stakeholder to develop BQ/Job Scope/Work Description/Tendering Document as per company requirement.
  • To prepare tender/RFQ documents and handle all tendering/RFQ and negotiation process.
  • To organize meeting/briefing between potential vendor and stakeholder team upon work start up.
  • To source for new and competent vendor to perform job for the company.
  • To pre-qualify vendors based on company requirements and vendor's ability to perform the job.
  • Handle tendering process on the MRO items and services based on Company SOP.
  • Prepare technical and commercial comparison based on the proposal received.
  • To finalize the proposal for management approval and system approval submission.
  • Implement and adhere to SOPs, Code of business conduct in area of responsibilities.
  • To manage project and operations purchases. Lead in sourcing activities for goods & services, negotiate and recommend for right and best option.
  • To solve suppliers/contractor's related issues, coordinate communication between stakeholder and suppliers/contractors.
  • To handle the purchase requisition form as assigned based on the purchase commodities and families.
  • To assist senior executive/manager on the revised SOP/WI for Purchasing Department as and when required.
  • To assist in driving improvements to purchasing's processes & decision support system.
  • To Supervise, provide training, monitor and update KPI for purchasing officers.
  • Maintain proper filing system for purchasing documents.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field from an accredited University.
  • Preferably Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Material Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of Engineering or Purchasing Field.
  • Able to understand engineering drawings/diagrams.
  • Understand common engineering terms (inclusive of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Architecture/ Interior Design).
  • Familiar with common engineering standards including HSE requirements on performing on site job.
