Job Description
- Execute full-cycle payroll processing, ensuring 100% accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.
- Maintain employee payroll data, statutory deductions, benefits, and allowances in line with regulatory requirements.
- Reconcile payroll reports, validate variances, and ensure audit-ready documentation at all times.
- Serve as the primary liaison for statutory bodies (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN) and ensure adherence to all reporting obligations.
- Lead monthly payroll closing activities, coordinate with Finance for GL posting, and support year-end processes (EA forms, CP8D submissions).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to uplift payroll efficiency, controls, and data governance.
- Provide risk-mitigating guidance on payroll policies, ensuring operational compliance and internal alignment.
- Support internal and external audits, demonstrating strong command of payroll standards and governance.
Job Requirements
- Degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll operations, preferably in a fast-paced or multi-entity environment.
- Strong command of Malaysian statutory requirements and payroll compliance.
- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
- Experience with HRIS or payroll systems (SAP/Times Software) is an added advantage.
