Senior Financial Analyst, Reporting

About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst, Reporting & Compliance to join our finance team at ACO Holdings Sdn Bhd in Kawasan Perindustrian Tebrau 4, Johor Bahru. This is a critical role where you will be at the heart of our group's financial integrity and regulatory adherence.

You will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our group financial consolidation, managing all external reporting to Bursa Malaysia, and guaranteeing compliance with statutory requirements. Your expertise will be pivotal in providing reliable financial information to senior management and stakeholders, directly supporting the company's transparency and corporate governance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare monthly consolidation and the quartertly report.
• Coordinate with subsidiaries for timely reporting and submission of financial data.
• Review subsidiaries' taxation and deferred tax to ensure timely submission of tax computations.
• Review the Group reporting package and financial analysis.
• Ensure all reports comply with regulatory and statutory requirements (e.g., Bursa Malaysia reporting for listed companies)
• Ensure proper elimination of intercompany transactions and balances.
• Prepare and coordinate announcements to Bursa Malaysia, including quarterly financial results, material transactions, changes in shareholdings, and other corporate disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with Listing Requirements, Companies Act 2016, SC guidelines, and other relevant regulatory,
• Liaise with Company Secretary and external advisors on corporate compliance matters.
• Assist in preparing materials for Board of Directors and Board Committee meetings, including financial reports, circulars, and papers.
• Circulate/maintain records of board resolutions, meeting minutes, and corporate approvals.
• Support/updates compliance with corporate governance policies
• Prepare/coordinate the timely preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial reports for public release.
• Work closely with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance.
• Ensure all disclosures are accurate, consistent, and aligned with IFRS/MFRS and Bursa regulations.
• Assist in preparing investor communication materials such as Annual Reports, AGM/EGM packs, press releases, and Q&A briefings.
• Led and guided junior staff to ensure performance and growth aligned with team goals.
• Carry out any other ad-hoc duties or tasks assigned by superiors or management as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Proficient in preparing consolidated financial statements in accordance with MFRS/IFRS.
• Familiar with compliance processes, board reporting, and governance frameworks.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel, financial reporting tools, and consolidation software.
• Knowledge of corporate taxation, statutory submissions, and regulatory deadlines.
