Merchandising Coordinator #ITJ12#

This role supports the Merchandiser to ensure products are always available, neatly displayed, and following brand standards in all assigned outlets. You will help with shop visits, stock checks, product displays, promotions, and basic sales tasks.

1. Outlet Visits & Execution

• Visit assigned shops based on daily route.
• Ensure products are displayed neatly and follow required shelf space.
• Identify new potential outlets and share leads with the Merchandiser.
• Provide good service to shop owners and buyers.

2. Product Display & Promotion

• Place promotional materials (POSM) at outlets.
• Ensure all materials are clean, updated, and well-maintained.
• Support promotions, campaigns, and trade activities.

3. Selling & Basic Reporting

• Suggest the right product quantity to retailers.
• Arrange products for better visibility.
• Record daily sales, stock balance, and payment details.

4. Stock Management

• Ensure stock is sufficient and fresh.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) method for stock rotation.
• Handle expired/return stocks properly.
• Maintain van stock accurately.

5. Support Tasks

• Stand in for the Merchandiser when needed.
• Assist with surveys, activation events, and any tasks from the Area Sales Manager.

• Minimum SPM.
• Preferably 1-year experience in FMCG.
• Able to speak Bahasa Malaysia; basic English is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills & able to use simple sales apps.
• Good communication & basic selling skills.
• Must have own transport and willing to travel around Tawau.
• GDL licence required for work purposes.
