Position Summary

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas. This role ensures a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests in accordance with international hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Room Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Clean, service and reset guest rooms following established brand standards.
  • Replace linens and towels replenish amenities and supplies.
  • Inspect rooms for maintenance needs, damages or safety hazards and report promptly.

Operational Excellence

  • Follow daily task sheets, cleaning checklists and standard operating procedures SOP.
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and use chemicals responsibly.
  • Handle guest requests professionally and efficiently.
  • Manage Lost & Found items in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain a well organized, fully stocked housekeeping cart.

Health, Safety & Hygiene

  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, emergency procedures and hygiene standards.
  • Use protective equipment as required.
  • Follow environmental and sustainability practices where applicable.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a positive service attitude.
  • Flexible with working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
